    The catering is handled by the team behind The Waggon Inn and Salt in Uppermill. Whether you need a working lunch, a drinks reception, a formal sit-down dinner, or an evening buffet — we'll build the format around your event and your budget.

    A venue that makes an impression

    The Lordsmere Suite seats between 90 and 100 guests depending on your layout, with the 1904 Bar & Lounge available alongside for drinks receptions, arrivals, and informal dining. The suite leads out onto the patio, and the views across the Saddleworth valley give your guests a setting that's hard to find anywhere else in Greater Manchester.
    Easy to reach from Oldham, Ashton-under-Lyne, and across the north west — with free parking on site for all guests.
    The Lordsmere Suite seats 90–100 guests. The 1904 Bar & Lounge is available for receptions and overflow.
    You're welcome to arrange your own entertainment and AV. We'll need copies of public liability insurance and PAT testing certificates for any suppliers using electrical equipment.

    Booking & availability

    Dates can be provisionally held for up to 2 weeks. A non-refundable deposit is required on confirmation, with the final balance due one month before your event following a final details meeting.
    Room hire: Room hire charges apply for smaller events. If your booking includes a minimum of 50 three-course meals or 80 buffet guests, no room hire charge applies.
